Responsibilities:
Track Addenda and other Bid Information Review and Price Plans, Details, and Specifications to ensure Scope Coverage Estimates with an eye toward Value-Adds and Competitive Advantage Develop and submit RFI's as required Ensure that all Bids are submitted on time Follow up on Bid with General Contractors, Dealers, and or Owners Create detailed take-offs of construction blueprints Analyze blueprints, and specifications Assists setting estimating priority based on due dates and guidelines Enters product pricing into company database Calculates raw material requirements Skills:
Critical thinking Strong attention to detail Communication at multiple levels Resource management Problem solving Must be adept in mathematics Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Basic AutoCAD knowledge a plus PlanSwift Required
Experience:
2 or more years of formal estimating experience on construction projects OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
