Information Security Analyst - IT Security - Full Time

Main Function
The Information Security Analyst is an entry-level position that performs monitoring of security events, security investigations, and incident response as the primary role. The Analyst will also participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance on equipment and software related to electronic access control and general security based solutions. In addition, they participate in in-house, regulatory and industry teams including working groups, committees, and business continuity teams as required.
BachelorÔ s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
A specialized degree in Information Assurance or Security (highly preferred)
An Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification (preferred)
Incident Analysis or Handling certification such as GCIA, GCIH (preferred)
The ability to pass a DOD Security Clearance is required for this position
One+ year of experience in an information assurance or security role or three to five years of experience in either a network or system administration role, an IT audit/compliance role, a systems analysis role or an application development role

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
